Niantic, known for Pokémon GO, pioneers real-world AR experiences. With their tech going open source, they needed engaging tutorials—we brought them to life with vibrant visuals.

For this project the client gave us access to their 3D mascot, Doty. We set out to show him on his AR learning journey.

Udemy

Udemy developed an AI-powered system to guide learners on their educational journey. To bring this to life, we created a magical intro video featuring their stylized characters. My contributions included cel animation and storyboarding.

This short video explains how Udemy's new AI can benefit both students and companies. Giving them the most efficient path to learn what they need to.

I collaborated on multiple projects with Meta, creating course intros for AR and XR, animated videos showcasing AI-driven inventory management for shop owners, and content demonstrating efficient Reel sharing for influencers. My work spanned 2D/3D animation, storyboarding, illustration, and diverse visual styles.

This tutorial series gave students the knowledge needed to make mixed reality. We focused on abstract shapes mixed with the retro vibe. It was nice getting a little weird with this one.

Smule let users publish video content more easily. It was a departure from Meta's usual style and I had a lot of fun creating the paper effect.

Spark Curriculum is a tutorial series that taught users how to use the program, Spark AR. We wanted to focus on using the user face elements as our animation assets but with a bit more style added in.

Dynamic media uses Meta's powerful AI to match the right products to the right people. With the large inventory of products it was important to build this animation efficiently. We used mogrts for each product panel making it easy to switch out the product in frame.

Passion Projects

I believe my best work comes from projects that inspire me—whether it’s conveying a message of connection or bringing a lighthearted St. Paddy’s Day story to life. My passion for animation keeps me constantly evolving and pushing creative boundaries.

Covid was a difficult time to say the least. I struggled with isolation and was inspired by a video that went viral of two people stuck in their apartments playing battleship by shouting back and fourth to each other.

These national parks animations were designed by Steve Wolf, a wonderful person and illustrator. We collaborated to bring his designs to life.

This St. Paddy's day animation was in the height of Covid's 2nd year. At this point I think we all expected the shutdown to be lifted, including leprechauns. Low and behold we were confined to our homes and another Irish holiday was cancelled.

I wanted to create animations that the masses could relate to. So I started a series called Simple Pleasures. Whether it's sipping some tea on cold winter evening or pealing the plastic off some new electronics, it's something we all enjoy.
